Well, not everything is disappointing...
My friends (friend), I may have made some long-awaited progress on the job front.
I went and applied at AppleBee's and they immediately brought out their manager to talk to me about what shifts I can work and what-not. They made it very very clear that they are in desperate need of servers. Then they told me they would keep my application on file and I should call when I turn 18 (which is only in about four weeks). I really wish I could get hired right away, but even if I have to wait a few weeks, a server? At AppleBee's? What more could I ask for? Free food (good food), a really nice enviroment, and tons of money (HELLO??? TIPS!)... Okay, maybe not tons, but more than an hourly wage. I can't wait. They pretty much made it clear that if I were already eighteen, I'd have a job with them already and I'd be starting sometime around NOW. So...... This is good, right?
